Munster Angus sale this Saturday
Strong trade at Kilmallock this Monday
860 Cattle and calves were sold at Kilmallock Mart this week. There was a strong demand for all types of cattle.
Bullocks under 550kgs sold for up to €1848 a head or €3.93 per kg. Heavier Bullocks made up to €2258 each or €3.77 per kg. Dry cows hit €1900 each or €3.24 per kg. Heifers sold for up to €1540 each or €3.70 per kg for lighter stock. Heavy heifers made up to €2047 each or €3.67 per kg. Dairy stock made up to €2120. Young calves sold for up to €690 with Farmers and Exporters very active.
Wednesday Night Calf sale continues this week intake from 1pm sale starts at 5.30pm.
