Golden Vale Co-operative Mart (GVM Group) was established in 1956 as a co-operative society and opened its first livestock mart in Kilmallock, Co. Limerick in 1958.

From small beginnings, it has developed into a diversified group involved in livestock marts, property auctioneering, property investment/development and renewable energy.

Over the last 60 years, however, it has maintained its co-operative structure and ethos and is now a multi-faceted business with shareholders funds of over €24 million. GVM has around 5,000 shareholders.

GVM Group opened its property auctioneering division ‘GVM Auctioneers’ in 1972 with an office in Kilmallock.  It has grown significantly since then and in addition to Kilmallock, now has offices in Limerick City, Tullamore, and Carrigallen.

The division is headed by Property Director Tom Crosse and GVM are now one of the largest property auctioneers in Munster. GVM Auctioneers prides itself on the quality of its service and is committed to fulfilling and surpassing our client requirements. Our staff are highly trained, professional people who will advise you on all aspects of your property transaction.
