STRONG DEMAND AT KILMALLOCK MART
Due to the hard frost Kilmallock was one of the few marts that went ahead early this week. Trade was good for the small number of cattle on offer. Bullocks sold for up to €5.60 per kg. Dry cows made up to €2,000 each or €3.00 per kg. Heifers hit €2,600 a head or €3.92 per kg. Young calves made up to €545.
