Sucklers unit makes €4350 at Kilmallock.
1500 cattle & calves were sold at Kilmallock Mart this week.
Bullocks less than 550kgs made up to €2500 each or €5.16 per kg. Heavier lots sold for up to €2450 a head or €3.82 per kg. Dry Cows made up to €2980 each or €3.71 per kg. Heifers sold for up to €2230 a head or €5.14 per kg. Heavier heifers made up to €4.00 per kg. Dairy stock made up to €2420 each. Young calves sold for up to €920 a head, A Limousin suckler cow with her October bull calf at foot made €4350.
Wednesday Night Calf sale continues this week intake from 1pm sale starts at 5.30pm.
